Rustic Isham Family Farm Wedding

Set against the fiery backdrop of Vermont's peak autumn foliage, Elle and Jack’s wedding at Isham Family Farm was a perfect blend of elegance and personal flair. The scene was stunning: the bridesmaids in navy jumpsuits and the groomsmen in matching navy suits, all framed by golden leaves and sweeping mountain views.

The choice of venue was deeply personal. "We met at Middlebury College in Vermont, and wanted to return to our favorite place," Elle shared. They chose the farm because it is "conveniently located near downtown Burlington, owned by the sweetest couple, and is just the most beautiful place."

The day was an intentional celebration of their journey and favorite things, featuring a host of thoughtful details. Elle painted the picture of their day, which included "maple creemees & apple cider doughnuts for dessert, tasteful Taylor Swift references... dirty martinis, disco balls we hung in the barn, tables named after our favorite hikes, and a wedding emblem including an outline of Camel’s Hump." They topped it off with "golden hour cocktails ft. disco music."

A favorite part of the planning was collaborating with a close friend on the visual identity. "My dear friend (& bridesmaid) Grace is an artist," Elle noted. "She created a wedding logo for us, which included some of our favorite things: mountains, martinis, fish! Her designs were featured on our cocktail napkins, matchbooks, and seating chart."

Ultimately, the best investment they made wasn't monetary, but temporal. "Our best investment was time—just having more than one year to plan really let us take the time to figure out what we wanted to prioritize."
